From Tree to Bottle Olive Grove Tours and Olive Oil Tastings, Warkworth

Mahurangi Olives is an olive grove encompassing more than a thousand tress throughout 7 different varietals which include Frantoio, Ascolano, Leccino, Pendolino, Koroneiki, Picual and J5 - all contributing to create the award winning Matakana Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
At Mahurangi Olives we store and package our olive oil for distribution in our purpose built cooling shed, the "Red Shed". From here we start a tour exploring first the grove, then our harvesting methods and all that happens from tree to bottle.
To complete the tour we give our guest a taste of our award winning olive oil and we show them how to sample olive oil like a real somellier. Sales of our fresh extra virgin olive oil are also available from the grove.
