Rooted in the landscape of Waiheke Island, Allpress Olive Groves began with the first trees planted at Rangihoua Estate in 1997. Officially founded in 2021 by Michael Allpress, the groves reflect a deep connection to the island - its coastal climate, sun-soaked hillsides and mineral-rich soils shaping every harvest. The result is world-class extra virgin olive oil that captures the distinctive character and flavour of Waiheke in every bottle.

Today, Allpress Olive Groves is a celebration of place, flavour and slow island living. From guided tastings and mill tours to seasonal gatherings among the trees, every experience reflects the flavours and natural beauty of the island. At Bistro Allpress, simple, seasonal dishes inspired by rustic European cantinas hero the best local and New Zealand ingredients, allowing the olive oil to shine. Guests can stay a little longer in our collection of luxury holiday homes nestled within the groves - private, design-led retreats immersed in olive trees and sea air.
