Visit the most popular beach on Great Barrier Island. Medlands is one of the island’s best surf spots; you can also swim, walk, explore the dunes or fish off the rocks. Sublime. 

Picnic and swim at the gorgeous golden beaches of Ladies Bay or Mens Bay on Rotoroa Island. The island is just over an hour’s ferry ride away, and both bays are a short walk from the wharf.
