Velvet Burger, Auckland CBD

Came here on a Friday night and they had a deal for $30 with 2 burgers, 2 fries and 2 sauces. Got velvet lady (chicken) burger for myself and ordered two fatties fries and aioli sauce (can’t remember which the second one was) and as expected, they were awesomely yum! The burger was huge and all the ingredients were generous. Loved the avocado inside the burger and the bun was very soft. The fries were in huge serving. To be honest we couldn’t finish everything One thing about the burger was that it was a bit messy to eat. The juice dripped down and the fillings might drop but that’s a common problem for burgers anyway.

Always love a good BYO with a giant burger + crispy fries for $22 at Velvet Burger! Great atmosphere, friendly staff, good food. No complaints.

I need to come here more often, I forgot how tasty and decently sized the burgers are! They are on the expensive side but there a few cheaper options too and they run 2 for 1 Tuesdays which is a great deal. Friendly crew, and fast service also.
