Katsura Japanese Restaurant, Auckland CBD

Excellent service and excellent food. Each visit has been fantastic. A good selection of sashimi and seafood. Complimentary parking for the restaurant guests as well which is very handy!

There are few good buffet restaurants in Auckland one of which is Eight and Katsura is the other, though I haven’t tried their dinner menu I had been twice on their Executive Buffet Lunch which is only available on Fridays from 11.30pm – 2:00 pm only. There are lots of selections like different varieties of sushi and sashimi, cooked food like teppanyaki, teriyaki, oden, udon, tempura and different desserts to name some. At $45 per adult, $23 per child (6-12 years) and $13 per child (4-5 years) it’s all worth it, you won’t get the same value for money as this one. Food is prepared fresh and the selection is amazing there were at least 10 different sushi types and at least 6 different types of sashimi, the cooked food did not skimp as well on the varieties where there are more than 8 options as well. With the desserts there were more than 8 as well.
